Every trip to Paris involves trying to get that perfect Eiffel Tower view (why you would go to the top of the Eiffel Tower itself baffles me – surely what makes the Paris skyline so identifiable is the Eiffel Tower?) A really great one is from the terrace on the seventh floor of Galeries Lafayette. It has a sweeping view of Paris’s rooftops with the Eiffel Tower in the centre. It was a rainy January when we visited and the sky was grey and the tip of the Eiffel tower disappeared into the clouds but it was still beautiful. Here’s some photos we took.
(By the way, if you’d like to purchase any of these as a photography print you can do so from my shop).
